SCB sees the baht moving at 34.45-34.75 baht.

Financial Market Group Siam Commercial Bank (SCB Financial Markets) estimates the baht to move in the range of 34.45-34.75 baht/dollar today (15 Dec. 65).
The SCB specifies the following important factors:
– The dollar fell after the Federal Reserve (Fed) announced an interest rate hike of 0.50% to 4.25-4.50% as expected.
– Mr. Jerome Powell, Chairman of the Federal Reserve (Fed), said that the Fed will continue to raise interest rates next year. Even though the US economy is almost entering a recession. Mr. Powell reasoned that the US economy would suffer more damage. If the Fed is unable to control inflation more firmly,
– The Fed is expected to raise interest rates by at least 0.75% before the end of 2023.
