Year 2544 to year 2553

            Working in this era is an era called recovery and moving forward (The Great Reset). During this period, it is considered a golden opportunity period for law firms. From working in a wider variety of jobs, it has given me more work experience.

            I would like to look back and chronicle the types of business law in which I have been involved. and attending various courses that help in the work as follows:

            1. Related legal work

            During the year 2544, there was more legal work that I was responsible for, such as the merger of various commercial banks. I became a legal advisor to the Airports Authority of Thailand, MCOT, using my experience in bringing Thai Airways International Public Company Limited to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Thus making him familiar with the work of state enterprises and the government sector. Especially the Ministry of Finance is very good.

            2. How necessary is it to take classes in popular courses?

            Originally, there were not many courses in Thailand. At government institutions, independent organizations are organized to provide opportunities for the private sector to participate in education. In addition to the courses of the National Defense College (NDC), which is a course that everyone wants to study to build a network. and the curriculum of the King Prajadhipok's Institute, which Professor Dr. Bowonsak Uwanno, who was the first secretary-general of the King Prajadhipok's Institute, has arranged for a diploma course in politics and governance in a democratic system for high-ranking executives, or what is known as P.P.R.

            By trying to use guidelines from the preparation of the same curriculum as the NDC, the participants will include members of the National Assembly. High-ranking civil servants, police, military, and the private business sector as well. This course has been very popular until now.

            Later during this period, the government and independent organizations organized various training courses. Much more By giving opportunities to the private sector to study as well, such as

            The Stock Exchange of Thailand through the Capital Market Academy or VTT provides courses on the capital market.

            Trade Science Institute Thai Chamber of Commerce Providing courses for senior executives in trade and commerce at Tepcot.

            Since then until now, there have been various courses. A lot happened I almost can't remember what courses there are. But the courses that were popular during that period and were sought after by private businessmen, civil servants, and politicians were the W.P.O., P.P.R., B.Y.S., and V.T. courses, until people called them these courses. This is a course that must be studied because it is a “Grand Slam” course.

            The issue of taking these courses has been heavily criticized as creating an incorrect network. causing corruption in policy and provide opportunities for specific groups of people, especially private companies, to seek benefits in various forms from government officials and politicians

            I myself, when I had the opportunity to attend various courses called Grand Slam, did not think that it was according to the critics. And I believe that having such a course has more benefits than disadvantages. Of course, in every course there are some groups who seek their own benefits from the course. But I believe that for the most part, the various courses, the knowledge, and the relationships gained by the participants are I think it would be more beneficial than harmful.

            In the year 2544, I started attending the first course, which was the 5th class of the King Prajadhipok's Institute. Attending this course has made me understand the political system more. and know friends who are politicians who is a member of the House of Representatives is a high-ranking government official and have a number of friends in the private sector It can be considered a new group of friends after graduating from university.

            In studying this course I have written a well awarded research paper on the subject. “Principles of Good Governance and Management of State Enterprises: Study of the Case of Companies Listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand” using work experience with government enterprises and the IOD to apply in making research documents

After that, in the year 2547, I attended the course for senior justice administrators in the 9th class or BYS.9 and wrote a research document on “Principles of Negotiation and Drafting Business Contracts: A Case Study from the Supreme Court Judgment on Contract Interpretation” which I have used as a document to teach students. in Negotiation and Contract Drafting at the Faculty of Law Chulalongkorn University until now

            Later in 2548, I had the opportunity to attend the National Defense College course. Public Private Sector Partnership Class 18 or W.P.O. 48 after trying to apply for a long time. It is the course that takes the longest time to study. This 2548 W.P.O. course is the first year that W.P.O. requires some private sector members to pay an application fee of 500,000 baht, which I am happy to pay the application fee. But later there was an exemption for some private groups upon graduation. Some of my fellow students and I sued the WPO for discrimination, but I lost the case.

            As for the by-products, After that, the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare has never collected any more money from the private sector.             In that course I wrote a research paper. “Legal and tax considerations in purchasing mergers and acquisitions for the stability of the Thai economy: Studying the case of the telecommunications business in Thailand” and at the same time that former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's shares in Shin Corporation were sold to With the Temasek group, we have brought various information. and case studies are written in research documents. and I included it as part of the book on mergers and acquisitions when it was first published in 2549.

            In the year 2550, after giving lectures in the Capital Markets College course for three generations on the subject of mergers and acquisitions. I was enrolled in this course at the Capital Market Academy. I am a 3th class of C.T.T., which consists of high-level government and private sector executives in the capital market. This course allowed me to get involved with the Thai capital market. From studying in this generation, new knowledge has been gained. This generation of VTT has prepared a capital market development plan that the government has used. This course was very useful in later work life.

            And finally, in the year 2551, I entered to study in the senior management program in trade and commerce. of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, TepCot, which made me involved in the tax law work of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. He became the chairman of the tax committee. Including working as a committee member of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.             3. Writing a book

            After I wrote the book The Ten Commandments for Tax Planning in 10 and Strategies for Tax Planning in 2536, which were considered one of the best-selling books. Ranked number one in sales for several weeks

            Between 2544 and 2553, I spent time writing four more books, in addition to writing articles for the Post Today, The Nation, and Banking and Finance newspapers. Especially in the areas of family business law and taxation and M&A, with 4 books:

            In 2546, I wrote a book: 10 Tax Planning Strategies for Individuals and Family Businesses. This was the first year that I was interested in studying the law and family business. and is the source of working in the family business. until now

            In 2549, I wrote 2 books in English:

            1.Corporate Governance in Thailand : A Way Forward, which is a collection of articles About corporate governance published in The Nation

            2.Mergers and Acquisitions Mergers and Acquisitions: Thai business opportunities in 2549 with an analysis of the Shincorp case study. And later there was a second update in the year 2 and has been improved. Split into 2553 books in 2

            During this period, I spent time dedicating myself to the academic department, whether it be studying various courses. Regardless of teaching writing a book writing articles Has been distilled from past work experiences. and received support from the boss Colleagues in the office all the time

            Another important turning point in my work was in 2546 when I began to pay attention and study family business seriously. Because it is believed that by managing the family business with legal and tax dimensions together, it is what the clients want. It makes me still have to study and research. Have a deeper understanding of family business management There is increasing academic knowledge in this area. And this dedication of time has resulted in my current work.

Looking back from the experience: Looking back

            I have two thoughts about taking the course. writing a book and teach books as follows:

            1. I believe that studying the popular courses mentioned above It is considered more beneficial than harmful. Only those who have the opportunity to study in those courses Care must be taken when creating a network. You must not do anything that is incorrect. Both legal and ethical But you should take the time to study and attend training courses to earn serious knowledge. By using the knowledge base from research in the said course. For the benefit of working for clients, organizations and finding ways to lead various matters. to be used to develop the country and society as a whole

            In fact, we should consider various courses. who have knowledge from the institution and students who have the potential to be able to apply the knowledge or transform their studies to produce results To truly develop the country and society to progress further By being able to work successfully Benefits all parties

            It's good to have a think tank for the WPA. It's also good to have plans for each curriculum presented together. In the past, it seemed that it was not practical. Therefore, we must look at where the problems can actually be implemented. I believe we need to get past the myth that these courses may only be of personal benefit to some people.

There is always a question: To be able to work successfully in Thai society, Technical know how and Technical know who, which is more important? I'm not surprised that people answer that technical know who is more important than technical know how. But I think that just having technical know who is good is probably not enough, but there must also be technical know how.

            Therefore, if looking ahead We should be able to pool knowledge from studying various courses. and relying on personnel with potential in positions in the public and private sectors To be able to be the driver of various plans By clearly setting the goal of developing the country. Therefore, I still believe that if these courses are combined with ideas, then we will be able to do various tasks. To truly achieve the goal of developing Thailand.             2. Writing books and lecturing. I think writing books and teaching books for lawyers and business people to share experiences. And taking the time to study this is important. and can be considered a worthwhile investment in the long run that will affect both organizations and individuals It will help in terms of increasing knowledge and communication for oneself and giving knowledge to the general public, which is a good way to give back to society.
