Bloomberg News reported on September 26, 2565 that the Chinese Communist Party confirmed that President Xi Jinping remains the mainstay of the party. A list of representatives invited to attend the summit next month has also been published. Xinhua news agency reported that the ruling party has selected 2,296 representatives from across the country to attend the 20th party congress. Jinping is one step closer to winning a third term, with the meeting scheduled to start on Oct. 3 in Beijing.

In an editorial on Monday, the People's Daily called on representatives to closely support "Comrade Xi Jinping as the backbone" of the party, saying: "It is firmly believed that under the strong leadership of the Communist Party Central Committee, China With Comrade Xi Jinping as the core and with the joint efforts of all the delegates, The 20th CPC National Conference will be a meeting of unity, victory and endeavor.”
