Reuters reported on September 26, 2565 that Apple Inc said it will manufacture its latest iPhone 14 model in India. This is because the company moved some of its production out of China. The company launched the flagship iPhone 14 at an event earlier this month. The emphasis is on safety upgrades rather than flashy new technical specifications.
“The new iPhone 14 models offer innovative new technology and important security capabilities. We are excited to begin manufacturing iPhone 14 in India,” Apple said in a statement.
JPMorgan analysts expect Apple to move about 14% of iPhone 5 production from late 2565 to India, the world's second-largest smartphone market after China.
JPM analysts said in a note last week that Apple could make one in four iPhones in India by 1.
