China set the median value for the yuan's appreciation today at 7.1570 yuan per dollar.

China Foreign Exchange Trading System (CFETS) reported that today's yuan median exchange rate strengthened by 0.0068 yuan to 7.1570 yuan per US dollar.

Xinhua News Agency reported that in China's foreign exchange market, the yuan is allowed to rise or fall by no more than 2% from the midpoint of the daily trading rate.

The Yuan's mid-point rate against the US dollar is based on a weighted average price before the interbank market opens for trading each day.
