The net profit of 73,303 million baht came from PTT's operating results, accounting for 13%, which decreased from the same period last year. Due to the operating results of the natural gas business where the cost of natural gas prices increased significantly, and another 87% came from the performance of PTT subsidiaries, which consisted of 49% petroleum exploration and production business, 24% new business and infrastructure and other subsidiaries, oil business and retail sales, 11%. For the petrochemical and refining business, the proportion was only 3%. The operating results were affected by the loss of oil stocks which increased greatly in line with the direction of oil prices that tended to slow down following concerns about global economic recession

On September 15, 2565, the PTT Board of Directors resolved to approve the payment of an interim dividend. As a result, the Ministry of Finance, as a major shareholder, and the Vayupak Fund will receive a total dividend of approximately 23,494 million baht, and when combined with Corporate income tax of PTT and its subsidiaries (first 9 months of 2565) is another approximately 40,967 million baht.
