So that entrepreneurs can use expenses spent on purchasing biodegradable plastic products to deduct corporate income tax in the amount of 1.25 times the expenses paid.

To apply for corporate income tax exemption during 2565-2567, biodegradable plastic products must be purchased from manufacturers that have received a biodegradable plastic product certificate issued by the Office of Industrial Economics or OIE. District, according to the OIE announcement regarding criteria and methods for certifying biodegradable plastic products. This is in line with the policy guidelines to drive the economic model towards sustainable development (BCG Economy: Bioeconomy circular economy and green economy)

Said that the criteria for issuing certificates for such plastic products OIE will issue it to manufacturers of plastic products. that will be sold between 2565-2567, which must submit a certificate request form to OIE for inspection according to one of the 4 criteria:

1. The product has been certified by the Industrial Standards Institute (TIS).

2. The product has been certified to other equivalent standards abroad.

3. The product has a laboratory certificate according to relevant standards.

4. Products that have certified plastic pellets used for production according to TIS 17088 or equivalent standards. and a copy of product testing results in the list of products certified for plastic pellets used in production according to TIS 17088 industrial product standards or equivalent standards. and a copy of the product composition test results (FTIR)

According to criteria 3 and 4, there must be a certificate from an inspection agency. OIE has received cooperation from the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISI) and the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC).
