“Open AI” reveals AI tools to effectively filter content

Reuters reported that OpenAI, the developer of the ChatGPT chatbot, highlighted the benefits of using artificial intelligence (AI) in content moderation, stating that it could help improve the efficiency of social media companies by speeding up the handling of challenging tasks.
The report states that despite the current surge in interest in generative AI, companies like Microsoft and Google have yet to make money from the technology they've invested billions of dollars in, hoping it will have a major impact on industries.
OpenAI, backed by Microsoft, says its latest GPT-4 AI model can reduce the content moderation process from months to hours. and make content that is more consistent
Meanwhile, content moderation can be a daunting task for social media companies like Meta, which rely on thousands of moderators around the world to prevent users from accessing sensitive content like child pornography and graphic violence.
OpenAI states that “the moderation process is slow and can be stressful for moderators. With this system, the process of developing and updating content policies can be reduced from months to hours.”
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a separate statement yesterday (August 15) that the company does not train AI models from user-generated data.
