RX holds big event COSMEX 2023 to awaken the Thai beauty market

Ms. Waraporn Thamcharee, Managing Director of RX Tradex, revealed that the beauty industry is one of the industries with a relatively high annual growth rate. According to research by Euromonitor, compared to the global market, the cosmetics and personal care products market in the Asia-Pacific region is very large, with a growth rate projected to account for 67% of the global market, or a value of over 13 trillion baht, by 2027.

As for the domestic market, it continues to grow. The Office of Trade Policy and Strategy revealed that last year's domestic market expanded by 12.1% compared to the previous year, reaching a value of 25,953.6 million baht. This year, it is expected to grow by 10.4%, or reach a value of 28,651.2 million baht.

Regarding exports, the Ministry of Commerce reported that last year, exports of cosmetics, soap, and skincare products totaled 112,859.69 million baht, an increase of 17.4% compared to the previous year.
