JKN confirms the Miss Universe Coin project is just studying the feasibility. There is no contractual obligation. TCG Social Media Group reveals that at this time the court has not yet received the lawsuit from TCG Social Media Group. The preliminary hearing will be scheduled for December 18, 2566.
JKN Global Group PCL. (JKN) Informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand on December 7, 2566 that according to the news T.C.G. Social Media Group Company Ltd Filed a lawsuit against JKN Global Group Public Company Limited and the Managing Director. In breach of contract regarding the Miss Universe Coin or MU Coin project
JKN Global Group Public Company Limited would like to clarify that
1. The Company is the sole owner of the copyright for Miss Universe worldwide.
2. The Company and Miss Universe Organizaion have not yet incurred any contractual obligations with TCG Social Media Group Company Limited in the MU Coin project.
3. There is only a preliminary memorandum of understanding to study the feasibility of this project between the two companies on June 2, 30. This memorandum of understanding is not binding and has no legal force in the company. TCG Social Media Group Co., Ltd. will be able to use the MU name.
4. Later, a group of people launched the MU Coin in the Philippines. Claiming the name Miss Universe Coin
5. The Company and the Miss Universe Organization have therefore announced through the media that the group of companies that issued the said news has no connection with Miss Universe. Therefore, the name MU should not be used to name the coin as MU Coin as reported in the online media.
6. TCG Social Media Group Company Limited has filed a lawsuit against JKN Global Group Public Company Limited and its managing director on September 25, 2566, which the court has not yet accepted. The preliminary hearing is still scheduled for December 18, 2566.
