Thai stocks closed up 2.26 points next week to receive TESG funds.

Thai stocks closed today, Dec. 8, at 1,380.99 points, up 2.26 points, trading value 34,760 million baht, rebounding strongly before encountering risk-reducing selling before entering the long holiday. The outlook for next week is hoping for an opportunity to recover and receive benefits from TESG funds gradually coming in.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index on December 8 closed at 1,380.99 points, an increase of 2.26 points (+0.16%), trading value 34,760.77 million baht.
Foreigners sold net 1,303.63 million baht, funds bought net 677.10 million baht.
Mr. Korapat Worachet, Director of Research and Investment Services at Krungsri Securities, said that the Thai stock market today fluctuated sideways. It opened well in the early morning session before faltering towards the end, as the Thai stock market will be closed for three consecutive days, causing investors to sell off some positions to reduce risk.
However, the overall market signal is still positive. Both government bond yields (bond yields) have decreased and the value of the dollar has weakened. Our country still faces pressure from low levels of investor confidence. Reflecting the picture, foreigners continue to net sell Thai stocks, but the SET is currently in an investment zone with both P/E and PBV being quite cheap. It is expected that we will wait for the moment when confidence recovers. and investment capital from TESG funds to support the market
Next week's outlook anticipates a market recovery, benefiting from continued inflows of TESG funds. Furthermore, US bond yields are expected to continue declining. We recommend monitoring meetings of several central banks, including the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and the European Central Bank (ECB). With interest rates nearing the end of their upward trend, greater easing is possible, supporting a positive outlook for the SET index.
Support is 1,366 points and resistance is 1,420-1,440 points.
