Thai Union releases 2566 Sustainability Report, reinforcing commitment to drive business growth under SeaChange® 2030 sustainability strategy

Bangkok – 4 June 2567 – Thai Union Group Public Company Limited Publish the 2566 Sustainability Report to report on progress towards the SeaChange® 2030 sustainability strategy goals.

This Sustainability Report summarizes Thai Union's performance in achieving our sustainability goals. And pushing to create change in various projects reinforces our commitment and determination to care for the environment. Social responsibility and sustainable development

Outstanding sustainability achievements according to the SeaChange® 2030 strategy in 2566 include:

• Reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 8.8 percent in 2566 compared to 2565.

• Increase the proportion of tuna purchased from fishing boats that have electronic monitoring equipment. And there are observers, from 71 percent in 2564 to 79 percent.

• 85 percent of the company's total tuna purchases. comes from fisheries certified and assessed according to standards from MSC or the Fishery Improvement Program (FIPs), which is a 4 percent increase from 2566.

• Co-signing of two global environmental initiatives, Ocean Breakthroughs and Transforming our Food Systems, during the 2th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP27).

• Launched a project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in shrimp farms in collaboration with the world-class nature conservation organization The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Ahold Delhaize USA, one of the global retail business groups. To reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions caused by the shrimp farming process.

• Publicize the results of the human rights risk assessment process. Ready to improve human rights policy

The SeaChange® 2030 sustainability strategy is Committed to creating large-scale, positive change in the seafood industry for people and the planet. In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Plan (UN SDGs)

The goals of the SeaChange® 2030 sustainability strategy include reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 42 percent in Scopes 1, 2, and 3 by 2573 and reaching net zero by 2593. Ecosystem restoration Thai Union will support a budget of 250 million baht (more than USD 7 million) to protect and restore important ecosystems.

In addition, it reduces the release of wastewater into the environment to zero. And in early 2567, the company also received a Level B sustainability index assessment result from a world-renowned sustainability assessment institute, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), reflecting transparency and action on climate change.
