“Kitipong” Chairman of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Board Clarified that it is not related to Stark Corporation Public Company Limited or "STARK"

The legal issues surrounding Stark Corporation Public Company Limited (“STARK”) have been linked to the position of Chairman of the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Questions were raised regarding Mr. Kitipong Urapipattanapong, Chairman of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, specifically whether he had previously served as a lawyer representing STARK in legal cases, and whether this would affect the transparency of his position as Chairman of the Stock Exchange.

Mr. Kitipong Urapipattanapong, Chairman of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), stated that there is currently a process underway to discredit those who may lose benefits in the stock market, with the intention of targeting him in his capacity as Chairman of the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

It links to the work of Baker Mckenzie's legal counsel's office, where I used to serve as chairman. that he used to work for STARK and fight this case for STARK and those involved Therefore, I would like to clarify the issue as follows:

1. I have retired from my previous office since July 2564, and before that I had never been involved with STARK's work.

2. In general, the legal consulting company I used to work at It is a duty to provide legal advice to a large number of clients. Its duty is to provide legal advice to ensure that all clients comply with the law correctly. Never involved in corruption of clients

In addition, in the STARK case, I learned that the office also cooperate in providing information to work with relevant government agencies Whether it is the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) that have been investigating all along. Until the lawsuit was filed against all those involved in the wrongdoing, and the office had never acted as a lawyer to fight the case for STARK and the persons involved in any way.

“I therefore ask for fairness regarding this matter,” Mr. Kitipong said.
