A spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office said that the CBS emergency warning system is an important tool in alerting the public to dangers. Emergency warnings can be issued in 5 languages: Thai, English, Chinese, Japanese and Russian, covering all mobile phone network users in the affected area. There is no need to register in advance.
It sends alarm messages in the form of text, letters, images and sounds. It also has audio signals. and text displayed on the screen (Pop up), including support for Text to Speech, assistive technology that reads text aloud. Makes notifications useful to those with visual impairments as well
For the CBS emergency alert system, 5 warning levels can be set according to the function used. By using cooperation with government databases consisting of
