The Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Thailand, the National Economic and Social Development Board, the Thai Bankers’ Association, the Association of International Banks, the Association of State Financial Institutions, and some non-banks have joined forces to push for additional temporary measures under the project name “You Fight, We Help” to provide assistance to specific groups of retail debtors and SMEs, with a mechanism to promote financial discipline alongside preventing problems of debt repayment discipline (moral hazard) in the future.

The steps to register to join the measure are as follows: 

How to register to join the measure
  • Debtors register to join the registration measure at https://www.bot.or.th/khunsoo
  • Debtors can register to join the measure from December 12, 2567.Registration 08.30 on February 28, 2568 (ends at 23.59)

By registration process

(1) Read the details of the measures on the website.At https://www.bot.or.th/khunsoo To check the participating financial institutions, conditions and qualifications for joining the measure, press to confirm qualifications and press to register to join the measure.

(2) Prepare ThaiD to log in and verify your identity. (See how to register for ThaD at ThaID self-registration steps)

(3) Login This can be done in two ways:

3.1 Login via ThaiD – Must scan ThaiD via the application (App) every time you use the system.

3.2 Login via email (e-mail) by confirming your identity through ThaiD for the first time only.

**Debtors must verify their identity via ThaID before registering to join the measure.

(4) Fill in additional information to register to participate in the measure. As follows:

4.1 Personal information/legal entity

    • The system will retrieve basic personal information from ThaiD.
    • Fill in additional personal information, including telephone number (to be contacted by the creditor financial institution), e-mail address (to send status alert e-mails), and province (for statistical information).

4.2 Fill in debt information

    • Select the financial institution that is the creditor and select the loan that you want to participate in the project.
    • In the case of a home loan, we will ask if you are interested in consolidating your debt.
    • If you want to register multiple products, you can click Add Product.

(5) Click to accept the terms of service. And press send. The system will display a successful registration message.

(6) After registration is complete The institution will receive the information automatically and immediately.

Debt solved

In the case of joint borrowers Let only one co-borrower register (not all of them need to register). The creditor will contact the debtor and co-borrower if they meet the specified qualifications to join the measure. In the event that the contact number is incorrect, a message can be sent through the system to inform the financial institution of the correct contact number.

In case the creditor name is incorrect You can cancel the wrong request and file a new request for the creditor.

In case of selecting the wrong loan typeD When the creditor contacts you back, you can directly inform the creditor to request to change the loan type.

In case of registration before January 2, 2568, to allow time for financial institutions to manage the system, financial institutions will begin to gradually contact debtors from January 2, 2568 onwards. In case of registration after January 2, 2565, financial institutions will contact debtors within 10 business days after successful registration.

Debtors can check the status of their transactions via the BOT website at https://services.bot.or.th/cpm By selecting the Debt Resolution Service Request Status check menu and selecting the request number received after successful registration.

If the debtor registers through the system on the BOT website and checks the status and shows resolved, but has not been contacted by the creditor / has not received assistance under the measures / the creditor refuses to provide assistance The debtor can press the reject button in the system to reject the consideration result. The matter will be sent back to the creditor financial institution for reconsideration (the debtor can reject the consideration result 2 times).

There are no fees or charges to register for the measure, so do not be fooled or transfer money if someone contacts you to make you pay fees or other expenses.

 

The “You Fight, We Help” project consists of 2 measures:

Measure 1: “Direct payment, retain assets”

1.1 Forms of Assistance

(1) Reduce the installment amount over a period of 3 years, with the debtor paying a minimum of 50%, 70% and 90% of the original installment amount in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively, with all installment amounts being used to reduce the principal.

(2) Interest suspension for a period of 3 years, whereby all suspended interest will be exempted if the debtor complies with the conditions throughout the 3-year period under the measure.

In this case, the debtor can pay more than the minimum installments set to reduce the principal and close the debt faster.

1.2 Qualifications of debtors who can participate in the measure       

(1) The total credit limit to financial institutions does not exceed the specified limit, with the credit limit considered separately according to the type of credit to financial institutions as follows:

    • Home loan / House for cash, credit limit not exceeding 5 million baht
    • Hire purchase loan / car registration pledge, credit limit not exceeding 8 hundred thousand baht
    • Hire purchase loan / Motorcycle registration pledge, credit limit not exceeding 5 baht
    • SME business loan with a credit limit not exceeding 5 million baht
    • In the case of personal loans and credit cards, if you have home or car debt that meets the above conditions, you can consider entering the debt consolidation measure under the risk level that the financial institution can accept. The combined credit limit does not exceed the specified conditions.

(2) It is a loan contracted before January 1, 2567.

(3) Having a debt status as of October 31, 2567, one of the following:

(3.1) is a debt that is overdue for more than 30 days but not more than 365 days.

(3.2) is a debt that is not in arrears or is in arrears for no more than 30 days, but has a history of being in arrears for more than 30 days and has had its debt restructured since January 1, 2565. 

1.3 Conditions for participation in the measure

(1) The debtor does not enter into any additional credit contracts during the first 12 months.Participating in the measure, except in the case of SME business loans that require a loan to increase liquidity, creditors can provide additional loans by considering the debtor's ability to repay the debt as appropriate.

(2) The debtor acknowledges that Information will be reported to the National Credit Bureau (NCB) regarding participation in the measure.

(3) If the debtor is unable to pay the minimum installments as specified in the measures Or if other conditions cannot be met, such as the debtor incurring new debt before the 12-month period, the debtor must exit the measure and pay the interest that has been suspended during the period of entry into the measure.

(4) If the loan contract has a guarantor The guarantor must consent to participate in the measure and sign a new guarantee contract.

Measure 2: “Pay, close, finish”

1.1 Forms of Assistance The debtor will receive a flexible debt restructuring, where the debtor will pay off some of the debt in order to be able to pay and close the debt faster.

1.2 Qualifications of debtors who can participate in the measure       

(1) Individual debtors with a non-performing loan status of more than 90 days (NPL) as of October 31, 2567.

(2) Have a debt burden per account not exceeding 5,000 baht, regardless of the loan type (can participate in the measure with more than 1 account)
