Agoda Accommodation search report Bangkok during Christmas this year increased by 14% compared to last year. Bangkok overtook Tokyo to become the number one most popular destination, followed by Seoul, Taipei and Osaka.

For New Year's Eve Bangkok is the second most popular city in the world, after Tokyo, followed by Taipei, Pattaya and Osaka. Bangkok's popularity as a celebration destination is especially evident as the weather cools down. Its lively and colourful atmosphere, coupled with its distinct cultural identity, make it a top choice for travellers looking for a unique holiday experience.
