The Bank of Thailand reserves 8 billion baht in cash for the New Year period.
The BOT reserves 2568 billion baht in cash for the 8 New Year festival, similar to the previous year, confident that it will be sufficient to meet public demand.

By surveying the demand for banknote disbursement from commercial banks, which takes into account economic factors, government measures and trends in electronic payments, it was found that: Commercial banks will require banknote disbursement from the BOT during the period of approximately 80,000 billion baht, similar to the previous year.
The BOT has prepared banknotes of various denominations sufficiently to meet the increasing demand to ensure that the public receives convenient and comprehensive services.
