“KTMS” expands its high-end patient base by closing deals with two major private hospitals, “Vichaiyut Hospital” and “Thanakan Hospital in Kanchanaburi,” to open hemodialysis units. Revenue from these deals is expected to be recognized immediately in the second quarter. The company is also in negotiations with 2-3 more hospitals this year to boost total revenue to 600 million baht.

Ms. Kanjana Pongpatthanadecha , Chief Executive Officer of KT Medical Services Public Company Limited ( “KTMS”), revealed that “KTMS” aims to be among the top 3 providers of hemodialysis services by expanding its high-end patient base.

Recently, deals were closed with two major private hospitals , Vichaiyut Hospital and Thanakan Hospital in Kanchanaburi, to open hemodialysis units providing services to patients on the waiting list starting April 1st.

Vichaiyut Hospital is a leading private hospital in Thailand with a high-end patient base. KTMS's ability to provide hemodialysis services at Vichaiyut Hospital, which already has nearly 100 patients undergoing dialysis treatment and 26 beds available for this service, is significant.

This will help companies that can create opportunities to expand and raise the standard of patient care to a premium level from the present. KTMS has a service base mainly for patients in the mass group.

While Thanakan Hospital , a major private hospital in Kanchanaburi province, has 24 beds for hemodialysis treatment, it is expected that revenue from both hospitals will gradually be generated starting from the second quarter of 2024 onwards.

In February, KTMS opened a dialysis center at Walailak University Medical Center in Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Revenue from this service is expected to start being recognized in the first quarter of 2567. Therefore, this factor will support KTMS's performance this year to reach 600 million baht as planned.

“After this, the company will expand branches to cover all regions of the country, including the northern, southern, northeastern, and central regions, including in urban areas and in districts. To provide as many patients as possible access to hemodialysis treatment.

Currently, negotiations are underway with 2-3 other private hospitals to open additional hemodialysis service centers with hemodialysis machines. To be in line with KTMS's roadmap plan for 2567-2568 that will expand hemodialysis units to 40-50 branches from the current 28 and add 400-500 hemodialysis machines from the current 349 to create The rate of revenue growth and profit generation will increase in the future.”
