Nokia appoints Justin Hotard, Intel's Data Center-AI executive, as new CEO, to take office on April 1, 2568

On February 10, 2568, Reuters news agency reported that Nokia, a giant company from Finland Pekka Lundmark has been revealed to be stepping down as CEO and has been appointed Justin Hotard as his replacement, amid declining sales of 5G devices and the company is looking to diversify and enter emerging markets such as artificial intelligence (AI).

Justin Hotard will assume the role on April 1, 2568, and is currently the executive vice president and general manager of Intel's Data Center & AI Group.

Sari Baldov, President of Nokia said in a statement that “Justin Hotard has a strong track record of accelerating growth in technology companies, along with extensive expertise in AI and data center markets, which are key growth areas for Nokia.”
