Ms. Kanoktip Chanpalangsri, Chairman of the Executive Committee, TPC Power Holding Public Company Limited (TPCH) It was revealed that the company has invested in a wind power project under the name Indochina Wind Power Co., Ltd. (IWP), which is engaged in the production and distribution of electricity from wind power in Cambodia. IWP has signed a 150-megawatt power purchase agreement with the State-owned Electricity of Cambodia (EDC) on November 27, 2567.
The project has a period of 25 years from the commercial operation date (COD). Currently, the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and the project concession agreement have been signed and the project construction permit and construction contractor selection process is underway.
As for the development of the solar power project in Lao PDR, TPCH has invested in Mekong Power Company Limited (MKP) with a 40% stake worth 12.5 million US dollars, which is engaged in the business of producing and distributing electricity from solar power in Lao PDR. A 100-megawatt power purchase agreement has been signed with the Electricite du Laos (EDL). Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 1, with a construction period of approximately 2568 year.
The investment in the wind power project in Cambodia is in line with the plan, as TPCH sees growth opportunities and investment channels in the renewable energy business, especially in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, which have high electricity demand, which will be an important factor in driving stable revenue growth in the long term.
Mr. Cherdsak Wattanawijitkul, Managing Director of TPCH He said that for the development of renewable energy projects in the country, currently there is a development of waste-to-energy power plants, consisting of Siam Power Nong Sarai Community Waste Power Plant (SPNS) with an installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts and Siam Power Naklang Community Waste Power Plant (SPNK) with an installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts. It is expected that construction and installation of machinery will begin in the second quarter of 2.
As for the waste-to-energy power plant, Siam Power Nonthaburi (SPNT), with an installed capacity of 9.5 megawatts, it has been improved to be able to operate more stably.
While there are approximately 4 additional waste-to-energy power plant projects being developed, including SP4-SP7, which are community waste-to-energy projects in the form of VSPP (Very Small Power Producer).

As for the 7 biomass power plant projects, including CRB, MWE, MGP, TSG, PGP, SGP, PTG, with an installed capacity of 80.7 megawatts, there will be development and improvement of the operation to be more efficient, including controlling the fuel price and finding new fuel sources to help manage the cost of electricity production better.
There may also be a study of additional policies for purchasing biomass energy from the government in the future.
Meanwhile, TPCH has been implementing a Carbon Footprint and developing a long-term plan to fully achieve Carbon Neutral and Net Zero, including registering Carbon Credit and I-RECs for power plant projects that have already achieved COD to increase channels for consistent income generation and providing sales services to those interested in reducing their own carbon footprint.
The Company still targets a total installed capacity of 500 megawatts by 2569, divided into domestic power plants, consisting of biomass power plants and waste power plants, with a total capacity of 150 megawatts.
Including projects abroad, both solar and wind power generation projects with a production capacity of 350 megawatts, which
TPCH currently has a total installed capacity of 110 MW, consisting of 80.7 MW from biomass power plants and 29.3 MW from waste power plants.
