HPE Unveils Aruba Networking Central, an AI-Powered Network Management Solution

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) today announced additional functionality for HPE Aruba Networking Central, an AI-powered, security-first network management solution.

It adds new deployment options, including a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for customers who need the agility of cloud computing, along with specific data security, data control and regulatory requirements, as well as an on-premises installation option that can operate without a connection to the cloud.

With this expansion, HPE is the only provider to offer the industry’s most comprehensive, AI-powered, cloud-native network management, via a customer-facing VPC, on-premises deployment, public SaaS, or network-as-a-service (NaaS).

HPE Aruba Networking Central On-Premises for Government Offering new deployment options with FIPS 140-2 certified server hardware to meet government security requirements, this comprehensive network management solution enhances enterprise efficiency and supports new use cases such as AI data collection, AI training and inference that require greater governance via air-gapped on-premise and cloud VPC deployment options.

For public cloud and VPC deployment options, customers benefit from HPE GreenLake cloud’s extensive network of data centers across multiple global regions, enabling flexible and localized cloud deployments.

Other innovations in HPE Aruba Networking Central include always-on AIOps network automation, which continuously monitors and detects wired and wireless network health, helping to optimize network performance and accurately detect performance issues.

AI assistant infrastructure acts as the network architect, monitoring and gathering data, providing diagnostics and recommendations to increase network capacity and efficiency, plugging security gaps, and helping identify configuration errors before they impact network operations.

HPE Aruba Networking Central It has expanded its full-stack network observability, analysis and troubleshooting capabilities, including telemetry of data lakes, supporting both heterogeneous network environments and core enterprise IT applications with an enhanced IT monitoring solution.

This new service expansion includes an annual subscription license from OpsRamp, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, that provides powerful third-party device monitoring. HPE Aruba Networking Central also provides deeper visibility into real-time apps like Microsoft Teams to support higher quality voice and video calls.

• Expand the ability to monitor, analyze and troubleshoot (Observability) From third-party providers with a one-year HPE Aruba Networking Central OpsRamp Extension subscription that expands previously announced capabilities to extend the visibility of third-party devices such as Cisco, Arista, and Juniper Networks.
• End-to-end remote data collection and transfer To enhance the Microsoft Teams experience for voice and video calls through native Teams integration, HPE Aruba Networking Central is now available to identify and resolve issues, as well as improve quality of service (QoS) for real-time call experiences by correlating and analyzing data gained from the Teams integration.
• A comprehensive integrated API enables sharing of observation context, analysis and troubleshooting (Observability). HPE Aruba Network Central leverages other key IT services to provide a full-stack view of the network, such as applications, device location, and remote monitoring and analytics of network devices and other enterprise IT tools. By providing key AI-powered remote insights from a data warehouse of more than two billion endpoints, HPE Aruba Network Central can leverage other key IT services to serve as a “authoritative source of information” for network monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting (Observability).
