The Strategy #3 Reflect – Reframe – Reinvent : A formula to change the business game to keep up with the world.

291

Businesses don't lose because they're slow, they lose because they stick to the old ways in a world that's no longer the same.

The concept of “Reflect – Reframe – Reinvent” is a mindset that is not just about business development, but about changing perspectives from the core so that businesses not only survive, but are ready to lead at every moment.

1.Reflect: See yourself clearly from an unfamiliar perspective.

When organizations start asking, “Are customers changing or are organizations standing still?”, that’s when real change begins.

Reflection is about re-questioning what we think we already know: the identity of the organization, the customers, and the future goals. It uses data, the voice of the customer, or even listening to those who disagree, to create new perspectives for the business.

Things to do

  • Explore customer experiences at every point of the customer journey
  • Analyze feedback and feedback from sources you may have overlooked
  • Let’s get back to the question, “What value can we really provide to our customers?”

2.Reframe: Change your mindset to see hidden opportunities.

Changing your mindset is more important than changing your plans.

Reframe doesn’t mean changing everything, but it does mean questioning what you once believed, such as “because it worked before” or “if our competitors aren’t doing it, we don’t have to do it.” Organizations that are open to learning from other industries, new players, or ideas they’ve never tried before tend to be the ones that make the first move.

Guidelines

  • Look at your own business through a case study that is not directly related, such as Netflix. How can it be applied to teaching service businesses?
  • Invite people with different ideas to join the conversation or create a learning platform within the organization.
  • Change KPIs from short-term results to experiments that measure learning.

3.Reinvent: Not just adapting, but redefining business

If you keep playing the same game, your organization will become someone else's past in the future.

Reinvention is about daring to rethink not just about a product or service, but also about the business model, the way the organization works, and the mission that the organization stands for. Reinvent doesn’t mean changing everything immediately, but rather starting small, where you can really test and scale.

  • Try a “Business as a Platform” perspective, not just a seller but a connector.
  • Open to new collaborations with forward-thinking partners or startups
  • Create space for teams to dare to think, dare to act, and dare to learn from imperfections.

Businesses that have been successful in the past often make the mistake of assuming that success is sustainable. Accepting that everything has an expiration date is the first step to becoming a leader in the next era.

Reflect To understand more deeply Reframe To broaden your perspective reinvent To create a new meaning for business and remember that “adaptation is not the responsibility of any one party, but it is the habit of the organization that wants to survive.”

Thank you and see you next time.
