ThaiBev Group factories join the activity “Save the World, Save the Environment for a Sustainable Future”

On the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on June 3, 2025, and the World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, on behalf of the group of factories under Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, Cosmos Brewery (Thailand) Co., Ltd., located in Lam Sai Subdistrict, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, has realized the problems and impacts on the environment. This is a good opportunity to encourage the community to be aware of the importance of conserving natural resources and the environment. At present, natural water sources in many areas are facing problems with water quality pollution and waste from human activities, which affects the ecosystem and aquatic life.

The main activity is releasing 50,000 silver barb fish to conserve aquatic resources in natural water sources. The Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Fisheries Office has supported the fish species, and the factory has prepared EM Balls and EM water to treat water quality by using natural microorganisms to decompose waste in the water to reduce odor, restore the aquatic ecosystem to balance, and provide EM water for households to use at home to promote sustainable environmental behavior from the inside out.

The project not only helps restore nature but also instills awareness in youth and communities about the importance of the environment and helps them jointly create a livable and nature-friendly community.

This year, the factory saw the value and realized the benefits of computer knowledge in education. Therefore, the factory personnel who are experts in computers were sent to teach computer use to students in grades 5 and 6 at Wat Kudi Prasit School, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The objective was to increase the learning potential and develop skills in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the CANVA curriculum so that students in remote areas can keep up with the digital world and have the opportunity to develop themselves effectively in the future.

It is an activity for the younger generation to turn to look at the environment, that nowadays, the environment, our daily lives also have a part that destroys the environment, such as household activities that release water for use, draining it into ponds, even industrial activities, production activities also release water into water sources as well.

Even the agricultural sector itself uses various chemicals. When it rains, it washes away and flows into natural ponds. Because of this, natural water sources are continuously degraded. Therefore, if we do not do any activities today, this nature will continue to be destroyed. In the future, our society and our children will have a bad environment. Therefore, today’s activities will be a confirmation that the water sources that we use and drink from every day are quality water sources. Various aquatic animals can survive and can be a sustainable source of food for us in the future.”

Creating environmental awareness must start from schools through learning and solving problems at the local level. Including activities to teach younger students how to use computers, which have been ongoing for the 6th year. I see that it promotes ICT skills that are very valuable to students, such as working in groups with friends to help them adapt, solving problems in video editing, creating simple games that encourage creativity.
