SET joins hands with TAT to launch the “Village to the World #SustainableAgenda” project with cooperation from various partners, creating a significant phenomenon that combines the capital market – communities – listed companies to elevate Thai tourism communities into an important tool to meet the ESG strategies of Thai businesses that can be truly measured.

30 June 2568 Mr. Soraphol Tulyasathian, Head of Corporate Strategy Planning and Strategic Projects, Head of Capital Market Sustainability Development and Head of Corporate Strategy Group, Stock Exchange of Thailand, Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) said The “Village to the World #SustainableAgenda” project is the ‘first step’ to truly link the capital market sector with community development. This is a tangible collaboration between the tourism sector, capital market, and community under the important goal inTransforming the role of communities from 'service providers' to 'strategic partners' of the business sector by using the ESG framework to develop a Win–Win collaboration model that truly creates economic, social and environmental outcomes.

Miss Thapanee Kiatpaiboon Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) He said that TAT, together with its partners, officially launched the “Village to the World #SustainableAgenda” project, with cooperation from various sectors of partners, creating a significant phenomenon that combines the capital market – communities – listed companies to elevate Thai tourism communities to become an important tool in responding to the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies of the Thai business sector that can be truly measured.

TAT intends to drive the Village to the World project to create strategic partnerships between listed companies and model tourism communities based on the concept of “ESG Partnership for Impact”, which is the first time that the tourism and capital market sectors have come together to drive serious structural changes by creating an investment mechanism that yields both business and social returns. It is believed that community tourism, which creates meaning through relaxation and valuable activities together, will elevate itself from a CSR activity to a driving force for sustainability throughout the value chain, helping to distribute income, improve quality of life, and connect the business sector with Thai society in a quality manner.

“We are elevating ‘communities’ from tourist destinations to ‘living ESG platforms’, real spaces where businesses can take action, create results and grow alongside locals. For TAT, communities are not just tourist attractions, but the starting point of new opportunities where businesses, culture and sustainability can truly go hand in hand,” said Ms. Thapanee.
