The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) believes that geopolitical conflicts will persist, but the Thai stock market continues to show strength and is likely to recover and return to positive returns soon. It recommends “Stay Invest” as historical data shows that stock markets in developed countries tend to experience short-term volatility before recovering quickly.

July 7, 2568Mr. Sarapol Tulyasathian, Deputy Managing Director, Head of Corporate Strategy, Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Revealed at the June Stock Market Summary Press Conference:

Historical data suggests that even in the event of geopolitical conflict or declaration of war, developed stock markets tend to experience short-term volatility before recovering and returning to positive returns in no time. The Thai stock market has displayed similar strength over the past month.

Many analysts recommend that maintaining investment discipline and continuing to follow the strategy, or “Stay Invest,” is an important approach that will help investors not miss important opportunities if the market index can quickly turn around and create satisfactory returns in the next phase.

As the Thai economy in the first half of 2568 expanded better than expected from the manufacturing sector and the acceleration of exports, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) resolved to maintain the policy interest rate. Meanwhile, after the last day of the Thai ESGX mutual fund sales, there was a fund flow of investors in the range of over 3 billion baht, which is a factor that helps support Thai stocks during a period of relatively high uncertainty. In addition, the Stock Exchange of Thailand plans to support listed companies in many dimensions through the “JUMP+” project to build confidence in the Thai capital market.
