SHARGE reveals rapid growth after EV charging station users quadruple, launches cross-brand charging orders in a single app, aims to expand commercial vehicle market to meet future trends

Date 14 July 2568 SHARGE shows regular EV charging station users grow 4 times, charging volume per station grows by over 288% After the overall EV registration growth - good application, it has been recognized for its convenience and stability in use - coverage of locations that meet lifestyle needs - cooperation with strong partners, both car manufacturers and Fleet business organizations

It is expected that 2568 will be the beginning of the business sector's transition to EV use, supporting the commercial EV market to grow from 2 units to 4.86 million units in 2573. The new phase of the offensive game is connecting Roaming with other EV Charger brands to allow cross-brand charging orders in the RÊVERSHARGER app.

Piloting the first collaboration with Spark EV app, continuously expanding new stations to support the new market growth, along with developing technology and loyalty programs to enhance the completeness, convenience, and comfort, and announcing the opening of new partners to drive the EV Ecosystem to complete the charging journey for Night, Day, and On-the-go.

Mr. Phiraphat Sirichantharopas, Chief Executive Officer, Charge Management Co., Ltd. The provider of charging stations under the RÊVERSHARGER brand and the leader in providing complete electric vehicle charging services to meet the needs of sustainable lifestyles said that the company's electric power sales business group for automobiles (Charging as a Service) in the first half of 2568 (January-June 2568) has experienced exponential growth in all aspects when compared to the same period in 2567, including:

  1. The number of weekly EV charging users (Weekly Active Users) has grown from approximately 3,200 per week to 12,800 per week, a four-fold increase.
  2. The average charging volume per station over the past 6 months increased from 8,670 kWh to 33,679 kWh, an increase of 288%.
  3. The average number of charging times per station over the six-month period increased from 6 to 402, a 1,223% increase, even though the company has only expanded its number of charging stations by a small amount, or around 205%, over the same period.

Initially, the company estimated that the growth in all aspects came from various causes, including external factors such as the growth in EV registrations as consumers are confident in the continuous transition from gasoline-powered cars to EVs.

And the internal factor is being accepted by consumers as a “good EV Charger application” from the company’s attention to 3 areas:

  1. Service: Design the operating system, including the application, to be easy to use, have high stability, and no app crash problems, resulting in consumers having confidence in using the service continuously.
  2. Lifestyle Compliance: Aim to develop stations covering important locations such as tourist attractions, power stations, car showrooms, condominiums, shopping malls, logistics centers, important places that have real EV charging needs, in line with consumer lifestyles.
  3. Partnership: Joining hands with strong partners from both passenger vehicle brands and business organizations that want to convert their commercial vehicles to EVs has resulted in a continuous increase in the number of regular users. All these factors have led to the company's current status as one of the major players in the country with comprehensive services related to the EV Ecosystem for both general users and organizations.

The company assesses that the company's electric power sales business group still has a lot of growth opportunities because the growth of the EV market in the past has been concentrated in the passenger vehicle sector.

While the commercial vehicle market, such as taxis, delivery trucks or delivery vehicles, is still in the early stages of the transition to EVs.

Mr. Phiraphat added that in the past, the Commercial Vehicle group of electric vehicles began to register in Thailand for the first time in 2564 at approximately 2,000 units and has been growing steadily until it is expected to reach 199,000 units by the end of 2568.

However, the company estimates that 2568 will be the beginning of exponential growth in the market as transport and logistics operators pay more attention to the transition to EVs.

With important driving factors Such as oil price volatility, lower EV car costs from both manufacturing technology and competition from car manufacturers, private sector’s focus on ESG goals, and the availability of comprehensive charging infrastructure in cities and logistics routes.

In addition to government support measures, it is predicted that in 2573, the cumulative number of registered commercial electric vehicles will increase dramatically to 2030 million vehicles, and as a result, commercial vehicles will become the main driver of EV market growth from now on.

SHARGE is entering a new phase of growth, so we are developing a system to support the increasing number of EV users in the future in 3 areas:

  1. Connect applications to allow EV users to charge across charging station brands seamlessly in a single application via the Roaming system. Recently, we have piloted the RÊVERSHARGER app network connection with the Spark EV brand, a high-speed charger provider, and will expand cooperation with other providers in the future.
  2. Expand the number of charging stations to support the expansion of Passenger Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle users.
  3. Develop technology, design features to make charging station services more seamless, and develop the company's loyalty program to connect with partners to facilitate and provide benefits to consumers, as well as help strengthen the EV Ecosystem.

SHARGE is committed to laying the foundation of an EV Ecosystem to be a future journey that connects people’s lifestyles with clean energy sustainably.

Reinforces the position as a leader in EV Charging Operator with full range of software, high-speed charging technology, and a large network of charging stations that support all types of EV usage based on the concept of “Complete-Convenient-Comfortable”, covering from personal charging solutions in residences, public charging stations, and EV Fleet Solutions.

For the business sector, the company is still open to new partners who share the same vision to join in driving this ecosystem to grow together.
