The government is preparing to open Government House on August 6, 68, at 10.00:30 a.m. to discuss with 4 global private sector companies in four key industries: semiconductors and electronics, electric vehicles, data centers, and the BCG sector. This meeting aims to build confidence and attract investment in Thailand.
On August 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM , Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government is preparing to hold high-level discussions between the head of government and executives of leading global companies on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House.
Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, acting as Prime Minister, will chair a discussion with executives of the aforementioned leading companies. He will also attend the launch of a public-private partnership project to develop a vocational workforce to meet the needs of the industrial sector at 11.00:XNUMX a.m.
The high-level discussion, titled “Prime Minister Meets Investors: Confidence in Thailand's Future – Prime Minister's Dialogue with Global Investors,” was a high-level meeting between the government leader and executives of leading global companies that have made large investments in Thailand over the past two years. It provided an opportunity to exchange information on the Thai economy and the government's policy direction, as well as allow investors to share their experiences and opinions on investing in Thailand. This will help build confidence among investors in doing business in Thailand and in their decisions to invest or expand their investments in the country.
The event was attended by executives from over 30 leading companies across four key industries: semiconductors and electronics, electric vehicles, data centers, and industries driven by the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) economic model.
Following the discussions, the government, through the Office of the Vocational Education Commission and the Board of Investment, will launch a collaborative project with six businesses to drive public-private sector cooperation in developing a vocational workforce that meets the needs of the industrial sector, which requires highly skilled workers to support significant investment.
"The government is proactively attracting investment and continuously building investor confidence, while prioritizing human capital development to support the growth of targeted industries (S-Curve) and enhance the country's competitiveness," said Mr. Jirayu.
