The Cabinet has approved the extension of the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate reduction to 7% for another year, from October 1, 1, to September 2568, 30.

B.E. ... extending the period for reducing the Value Added Tax rate to 7% for another year.
By extending the period of the VAT rate reduction to 7%, which will end on September 30, 2568, the Ministry of Finance, through the Revenue Department, recognizes the importance of building confidence and supporting the continued expansion of the national economy. Therefore, it has proposed a draft Royal Decree issued under the Revenue Code on the reduction of the VAT rate (No. ..) B.E. .... to extend the period of the VAT rate reduction to 7% (including local taxes) for another year, from October 1, 1, to September 2568, 30."
