For specific qualifications, one must have knowledge, understanding, and experience in finance, banking, and economics, have a vision in finance and banking, have expertise and experience in organizational management. In the case of being or having been a government executive, one must hold a position no lower than Deputy Director-General or equivalent, and have held that position for a total period of no less than 1 year, counting up to the date of application submission.

In the case of being or having been an executive of a state enterprise, other government agency or international organization, the position must be at least one level below the highest executive of the organization and the total period of holding that position must be at least 1 year as of the date of application submission.

and in the case of being or having been an executive of a private organization, must hold a position no lower than one level next to the highest executive of the organization that manages money and assets of no less than 50,000 million baht during the period of holding the position, and must have held that position for a total period of no less than 1 year counting up to the date of application submission.
