Siam Paragon has announced a 1.25 billion baht investment to develop three world-class tourist attractions, with the launch planned for the final quarter of 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen Bangkok's position as a key tourist destination, in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok's leading global shopping malls, is set to launch three new world-class attractions in the last quarter of this year. With a total investment budget of over 1,250 million baht, the project is part of a major transformation to mark the 20th anniversary of operations, which aims to enhance the perfect experience for service users.

Siam Paragon's main attraction is currently SEA LIFE Bangkok, one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia, covering 10,500 square meters and attracting no less than 2.5 million visitors per year.

This new investment will increase the total area for main attractions by more than 20,000 square meters, bringing Siam Paragon's total area for attractions to 30,500 square meters.

“The new project includes the permanent exhibition “NEXTOPIA,” the indoor theme park “MELAND,” and the renovation of the food area “Siam Paragon Dining Phenomenal.” These investments are expected to be a significant magnet for increasing visitor numbers and reinforcing Siam Paragon’s status as a world-class commercial and experiential hub.”

The three new projects will focus on delivering diverse experiences to further expand the customer base. They include:

1. NEXTOPIA: A prototype city of the future

It is an innovative permanent exhibition project covering an area of over 15,000 square meters with an investment of 850 million baht. This project is a co-created collaboration with over 50 innovative organizations, partners, and various sectors with the concept of being a "model city of the future" that emphasizes creating inspiration and promoting sustainability in life.

2. MELAND: World-Leading Indoor Theme Park

This marks the launch of MELAND, a world-class indoor theme park spanning over 5,000 square meters on the fifth floor of the shopping center. With an investment of 400 million baht, it is the first flagship global landmark outside of China, featuring a variety of rides and virtual reality experiences, emphasizing the role of an edutainment (education and entertainment) destination for families.

3. Siam Paragon Dining Phenomenal

This project aims to improve and enhance the food area's potential to become a complete "World-Class Food Destination." It will feature over 700 restaurants, dessert shops, and beverage outlets from both domestic and international markets. It will also feature the opening of a new zone called "EATELIER," a dining entertainment area that combines entertainment and art. It will feature 30 new shops and serve as a nighttime hangout/chillout hotspot in the heart of Bangkok.

This investment in budget and resources is a revolutionary move to set new standards in Thailand's shopping mall and tourist destination industry. Since its opening, Siam Paragon has received nine global awards, and this investment reinforces its vision of becoming a Global Landmark Destination that offers a complete and holistic experience.

This is expected to be a significant magnet that will attract more tourists from around the world to Thailand and play a role in helping maintain Thailand's position as a world-class destination that offers a complete range of experiences in every dimension.
