Electrolux is pursuing sustainability through three pillars with its "For the Better 2030" strategy, and has announced its success in achieving its first Net Zero goal three years ahead of schedule.

October 4, 2025 - Electrolux announced a long-term commitment to achieve Net Zero Emissions across its entire value chain by 2050.

Mr. Alexis Richard, General Manager of Electrolux Thailand Co., Ltd. , spoke under the topic “A Circular Future, From Industry to Home” at the SX Sustainability Expo 2025 , reaffirming the company's commitment to driving the circular economy principle to achieve sustainability goals under the company's For the Better 2030 strategy . He also reiterated the company's latest goal to increase the proportion of recycled steel and plastic used in the production of electrical appliances to 35% by 2030.

Electrolux Group's For the Better 2030 strategic framework comprises three pillars: Better Company, Better Solutions, and Better Living, along with its Climate Goals.

Concrete actions include enhancing operational and manufacturing efficiency to reduce environmental impact, strengthening supply chains, delivering exceptional consumer experiences through energy- and resource-saving innovations, and supporting communities in various areas.

“Sustainability is a key part of our global strategy, and Thailand, as our regional headquarters in Asia and our Rayong plant, is a key player in achieving this sustainability goal, particularly by producing and delivering sustainable products to consumers in Thailand. We offer circular, energy-efficient solutions that help people make delicious food, keep food fresh longer, keep their clothes looking new longer, and enjoy a healthier lifestyle in their own homes,” added Alexis Richard.

Electrolux successfully achieved its first science-based climate target in 2022, three years ahead of schedule , and has therefore set even more challenging new targets to achieve net-zero emissions: an 85% reduction in operating emissions ( Scope 1 & 2) and a 42% reduction in product-related emissions (Scope 3) by 2030.

“Today, two-thirds of consumers worldwide consider sustainability a key factor when choosing their appliances. Electrolux's recognition as a leader in sustainability in the industry is a key strength for the company. We will continue to push ourselves and the industry to achieve even more ambitious goals to help people live more sustainably and achieve a new standard of living.”

Electrolux Group's sustainability leadership has also been confirmed by its Gold rating from EcoVadis, placing it in the industry's sustainability leadership group and within the top 5% of over 70,000 companies worldwide. This is a testament to its outstanding performance in both responsible business operations and sustainable innovation.
