DAAT issues 6 guidelines for "digital media, agencies, and brands" to join in expressing condolences for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.

October 25, 2568 at 19.00 p.m. Digital Advertising Association of Thailand Issued 6 guidelines for digital media, media agencies and brands during the mourning period for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, as follows:

1. Adjust the format of all types of mourning activities to suit the mourning atmosphere. Please consider the appropriateness of the content and format of the activity to be appropriate and worthy of Her Majesty the Queen Mother, to express respect and gratitude for Her Majesty the Queen Mother's grace instead of cancelling it altogether.

2. Marketing activities, marketing communications and advertising can continue, but the tone should be soft and reserved. For example, reduce the elements of entertainment, music or celebratory images for 15 days (this approach applies to all types of media, offline, online and out of home media).

3. Tone-down or suspension of the publication of advertising pieces. It is at the discretion of the media operators and brands, considering the appropriateness according to the context of the situation.

4. Consider Live carefully. Live entertainment should be avoided. For example, singing, dancing, playing music for live selling of products should reduce the excitement or activities that seem inappropriate during the mourning period.

5. Check all ads. It is recommended to review your running ad campaigns or schedule posts in advance, especially for content, images, audio, or words that may not be appropriate for the situation.

6. After the 15-day deadline, operators and brands can resume normal marketing activities. Taking into account the appropriateness within 15-30 days after the announcement
