RCL's Q3 profit reached 2,301 million baht, a 14.8% increase, driven by increased shipping revenue and efficient cost management. The company also announced a second interim dividend of 0.50 baht per share.

November 17, 2568 – RCL Public Company Limited (RCL) The Stock Exchange of Thailand announced that the operating results for the third quarter of 2025 showed a net profit of 2,301 million baht, an increase of 296 million baht or 14.8% compared to the same period last year.

This was primarily due to an increase in shipping revenue of 321 million baht, or 3.6%, coupled with effective cost management, resulting in a 1.9% decrease in shipping costs, while freight volume decreased by 1.4%. The average freight rate increased from 406 USD per container in the second quarter of 2025 to 440 USD per container in the third quarter of 2025.

For the first nine months of 2025, the Company reported a net profit of 6,364 million baht, an increase of 511 million baht or 8.7% compared to the same period last year, which saw a net profit of 5,852 million baht. The growth was primarily driven by a 9.7% increase in shipping revenue, driven by an 11.3% increase in the company's shipping volume of 200,000 TEUs, reflecting the expansion of the fleet and the provision of a more comprehensive and diverse range of services.

While shipping costs increased by 9.9%, average freight rates increased by 6.3% compared to the first nine months of the previous year.

RCL specify that In the third quarter of 2025, the global maritime container shipping industry faced pressure from a rise in vessel supply exceeding demand, resulting in a slowdown in overall average freight rates.

Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions and global economic uncertainty, particularly the impact of the China-US trade war, continue to pose additional management challenges. To address this situation, the company is focusing on strategies that build long-term competitiveness and sustainable business operations.

By focusing on increasing the potential of the fleet to be modern and environmentally friendly in order to support the demand for environmentally friendly logistics services (Green Logistics) and the environmental requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

The company also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop the use of biofuels in the shipping industry. The company refueled the Piya Bhum, a clean energy-based vessel, with B24 VLSFO, the first of its kind in October, reflecting its commitment to reducing carbon emissions and driving sustainable growth.

The company has also implemented digital technology into its operations to enhance management efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction, while also creating a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing environment.

The RCL Board of Directors' Meeting held on November 7, 2025 resolved to pay the second interim dividend for 2025 at the rate of THB 0.50 per share, with the record date for shareholders entitled to receive the dividend on November 21, 2025, and the interim dividend payment date on December 4, 2025.

In addition, approval has been given to Regional Container Line Pte Ltd, a subsidiary in Singapore, to order two new 14,000 TEU vessels from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. of South Korea, a leader in the global shipbuilding industry.

Both vessels feature a modern design that enhances fuel efficiency, aligning with future sustainability goals and environmental regulations. This investment is part of the company's strategy to develop its fleet and expand operations into new markets, laying a solid foundation for the company's long-term sustainable growth.
