AMLO seizes and freezes assets of Chen Zhi-Ko An and his network worth over 1 billion baht.

The Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) has seized and frozen assets worth over 1 billion baht from Chen Zhi-Kok An and the Ben Smith network for allegedly committing technology crimes in a transnational scam operation.
December 2, 2568 The Transaction Committee resolved at its 13/2568 meeting on December 2, 2568, to seize and freeze assets related to the crimes committed by the technology crime network in the scammer network, which is a transnational criminal organization, in 4 major cases. Seized and frozen a total of 289 assets, totaling approximately 10,165 million baht, as follows:
1. Case list Mr. Chen Zhi With them The Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) has discovered information on online fraud networks, human trafficking, and money laundering via digital currencies.
With a large base in Cambodia, it is linked to Mr. Chen Zhi and his associates, the founders and chairman of Prince Holding Group (Prince Group), a multinational business group in Cambodia. The organized crime networks in each case are related and use methods to launder money obtained from crimes by converting currencies in each country into digital assets. It was found that people were involved in this case and there was a financial route linked to people in the transnational criminal network.
It is a hybrid scam using various forms and steps of deception to trick victims into transferring money through bank accounts. In this regard, the Transaction Committee has ordered the seizure of 102 items of assets related to the crime (e.g., land, cash, brand name products, and jewelry) with a total value of approximately 373 million baht.
2. Case list Mr. Kok An and his group Following the arrest of Ms. Parichat Sae-Eaw and her associates for involvement in a transnational crime organization and money laundering, Ms. Charlotte Austin (the victim) was deceived and suffered damages.
Police investigators have expanded their investigation and found connections to a large transnational criminal organization, with operations centers in the Kingdom of Cambodia, including the 25-story building, the 18-story building, the Hiso building, and the Crown Casino building. The organization has mule account owners scan their faces to verify transactions, with Mr. Kok An, a Cambodian national, the owner of the premises.
Information was found on a network of public fraud that is considered a technology crime. The network receives money transfers through bank accounts and uses the money from the crimes to purchase assets, using related persons to hold ownership of a large number of assets in Thailand.
In this regard, the Transaction Committee ordered the seizure and freezing of 90 items of assets related to the offence (such as land and money in bank accounts) with a total value of approximately 467 million baht.
3. Case list Ms. Tangthai Banmahing and others The victim was deceived by the information that they found information about the shipment of illegal goods from Chiang Rai Province to China and the victim had money in his bank account which was involved in illegal money laundering and the bank account had to be checked.
From the investigation of the financial trail, information was found that Ms. Tangthai was authorized to conduct transactions regarding the bank account of Mr. Leak YIM, or MR. LEAK YIM, a close associate of the heir to an influential network in Cambodia. This is a scam network that defrauds victims and is linked to the financial trail of the basic offender. Information on Ms. Tangthai's transactions was found to be linked to numerous individuals and legal entities.
This includes information on money transfers to Mr. Ben Smith, or MR. SMITH BEN, who has committed fraudulent acts, transferring money between various companies both domestically and internationally, as if conducting business and using the company to hold assets on behalf of himself and his close associates. This is a highly complex financial transaction and asset holding.
In this regard, the Transaction Committee has ordered the seizure and attachment of 66 items of assets related to the offence (e.g., land, condominiums, securities in securities trading accounts, and money in bank deposit accounts) with a total value of approximately 9,279 million baht.
4. Case list Mr. Ua-Angkun Santirakyothin and others In the case of a group of fraudsters inviting people to invest in stock trading through a Line group called "Investment Strategy", which is a group that teaches investment and provides information on profits. It is a form of persuasion to join the investment until they believe and decide to invest through the ULELA Max application. From the investigation, it has been expanded.
An investigation into the financial trail revealed that the money obtained from the investment scam was converted into digital currency (USDT). The coins were then transferred to a digital wallet, linked to a network of transnational crime groups, a Cambodian company. The Transaction Committee ordered the seizure and attachment of 31 assets related to the crime (cash and money in bank accounts) with a total value of approximately 46 million baht.
