11 December 2568 – Elon Musk, the billionaire and founder of SpaceX. The company made a move on Wednesday (December 10), signaling an acknowledgment of the possibility of going public. This move comes after Musk responded to a conversation on the X platform with space journalist Eric Berger from Ars Technica, in response to previously circulated rumors.

Mr. Burger posted an analysis along with a link to an article, stating his reasons for believing that... "SpaceX is going public soon." Mr. Musk responded concisely as follows: “Eric is always accurate.” This is considered an implicit confirmation of the possibility of an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Musk's move is consistent with reports from several media outlets on Tuesday (December 9). that states SpaceX is exploring avenues to raise over $2.5 billion through an IPO by 2569. Reuters previously reported that the rocket manufacturer had begun discussions with investment banks and was targeting a share sale around June or July of next year.

If this IPO is successful and meets its projected valuation, it will push SpaceX's company value past $1 trillion, immediately making it the second-largest IPO in world history. It is second only to the IPO of Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian energy giant, which set a record of $1.7 trillion in 2562.

Currently, data from Crunchbase ranks this Californian company as the second-largest private startup in the world, second only to OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT.

The IPO of SpaceX, a major player in the commercial space industry, will have a significant impact on the global capital market and technology industry landscape, particularly in the high-investment space and advanced technology sectors.
