The GBC negotiations between the Thai and Cambodian secretariats have concluded. A ceasefire is expected on December 27, 2025. Details of the sixth amendment to the agreement have not yet been disclosed, pending approval from the National Security Council.
On December 26, 2568, at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Immigration Office, Ban Phak Kad Permanent Border Crossing, Khlong Yai Subdistrict, Pong Nam Ron District, Chanthaburi Province. Reporters said that the third day of the Thai-Cambodian General Border Committee (GBC) meeting began at 3:10.00 AM, and the atmosphere was tense.

The meeting concluded at approximately 13.00:6 PM. The Cambodian side presented the sixth revised version of the agreement to the Thai side before departing. The Thai side will submit the proposal to the National Security Council (NSC) meeting, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul.
Regarding the content of the draft amendment to the sixth agreement, no details have been disclosed yet, pending approval from the National Security Council.
It is noteworthy that officials have prepared the venue for the signing ceremony between General Natthaphol Nakpanich, Thailand's Minister of Defence, and General Tea Seyha, Cambodia's Minister of Defence, on December 27, 2568.
Meanwhile, the joint press conference center on the Thai-Cambodian border situation will also be changing its location to the meeting venue in Chanthaburi Province.
Reporters have stated that the ceasefire will take place on December 27th and will be monitored for 72 hours, following Cambodia's earlier ceasefire announcement at a foreign ministers' meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on December 22nd.
