December 27, 2568- This morning, at the border area of Chanthaburi province, limited-participation (4 Eyes) bilateral negotiations took place. A private meeting of approximately 30 minutes took place between General Natthaphol Nakpanich, Minister of Defence of Thailand, and General Tea Sreyha, Minister of National Defence of Cambodia, to clarify misunderstandings and establish an initial framework for cooperation.
Following the conclusion of the discussions, the defense ministers of both countries proceeded to the signing site, a specially controlled area. Media were briefly allowed to photograph this historic moment before the formal signing ceremony began.
A "conditional ceasefire" was signed amidst an atmosphere of cooperation.
The key objective of this mission was to sign a "conditional ceasefire agreement" to defuse the previously escalating tensions along the border. The atmosphere at the ceremony was cordial and friendly, with high-ranking officials from both Thailand and Cambodia (Regional Border Committee) observing and witnessing the agreement.

Following the signing ceremony, General Tea Sreyha and the Cambodian delegation immediately departed the area to return to the Ban Prom permanent border crossing point in Pailin Province, while the Thai side prepared to begin the process of explaining the details of the agreement to the public.
