The People's Party has formed a special task force to investigate irregularities in the vote counting process nationwide and has allowed candidates in 10 constituencies to request a recount. They emphasized that while defeat is acceptable, fraud is not.

However, we thank the people for coming out to defend their rights and their votes. At the same time, the People's Party is ready to protect the rights and voices of all citizens. We urge the Election Commission (EC) to ensure everyone accepts the election results. Losing is acceptable, but being cheated is not. Ordering a recount for the entire province or even the entire country is feasible. At least a centralized recount would allow the public, including the media, to scrutinize the vote counting process once again.
As for the case where Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Speaking as a candidate for Member of Parliament in Chonburi Constituency 1 for the Bhumjaithai Party, Mr. Nattapong stated that he did not want such accusations made. He affirmed that no party leader would lead the protest and emphasized that they have been very careful to prevent the opposing side, or even Mr. Suchart, from distorting this issue. He believes such statements are unfair to the public.
"Everyone can accept defeat, but no one can accept cheating. Therefore, Mr. Suchart, or anyone else, should want to demand the same thing: transparency in the election. This decision is very easy: a recount," said Mr. Nattapong.
