Bangkok Life Insurance highlights that if a serious illness is detected, premium payments can be stopped, and the beneficiaries will receive their payout until age 99.

Bangkok Life Assurance has designed a critical illness insurance plan, "BLA Long Life Care," covering 8 diseases. Upon diagnosis, premium payments stop immediately, and a 10% annual compensation of the sum insured is paid continuously until age 99.
Mr. Chon Sophonpanich, President and CEO of Bangkok Life Assurance Public Company Limited ( BLA), revealed that Bangkok Life Assurance has developed the BLA Long Life Care critical illness insurance plan, providing coverage for eight critical illnesses: stroke (cerebral hemorrhage or infarction), Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, severe head injury, severe rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystrophy, motor neuron disease, and total permanent disability. Upon diagnosis, there is no need to pay further premiums, and policyholders receive an annual compensation benefit of 10% of the insured amount, continuing until age 99.
Thailand has now fully entered an aging society, with the proportion of elderly people continuously increasing, especially those living alone without caregivers. As people age, the risk of serious illnesses due to physical deterioration and lifestyle choices increases. Many diseases are incurable and require long-term treatment, resulting in significantly higher medical and living expenses.
For critical illness insurance, BLA Long Life Care offers coverage for ages 15-65 and is renewable up to age 99. There are two plans to choose from: BLA Long Life Care 10, providing continuous coverage for up to 10 years, and BLA Long Life Care 99, providing continuous coverage up to age 99. This is ideal for those who foresee the risk of critical illness or total permanent disability, providing a financial reserve to maintain financial liquidity without impacting savings. Furthermore, insurance premiums are tax-deductible according to the Revenue Department's regulations.
