Over the past 10 years, KAsset has continuously developed its ESG framework while strengthening its governance structure. This began with the development of an ESG policy in 2013, evolving into the current Responsible Investment Policy, which encompasses all asset classes and includes a systematic approach to Stewardship and Climate Change. This is overseen by the Sustainable Development Committee, which sets direction, reviews, and monitors sustainability initiatives across all organizational units.
KAsset believes that fund managers play a crucial role in shaping the direction of national investment and can be a key mechanism in supporting sustainable economic development, while simultaneously generating tangible returns and positive impacts on society and the environment. Meanwhile, KAsset will expand its Stewardship and Active Ownership role to systematically engage with listed companies, focusing on strategic issues significant to long-term competitiveness, such as net zero targets, supply chain management, enhancing ESG disclosure, and strengthening corporate governance quality.
KAsset will continue to strengthen its capabilities in all dimensions, including personnel, information systems, and technology, to support the sustainable long-term growth of its investment business. It will also expand its role in educating investors and stakeholders to enhance their understanding of ESG and continuously support the development of the Thai capital market to international standards.
