Simultaneously, a "sell on fact" reaction occurred as listed companies announced their earnings.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index closed the morning session on February 18rd at 1,464.82 points, up 5.14 points (+0.35%), with a trading volume of approximately 35,568 million baht.

This morning, there was trading of 6 securities on the big board (BIG LOT), 7 items, GULF was found to have the highest value at 66 million baht, with an average price of 60 baht per share.

Mr. Nattapol Khamthakruea, Assistant Managing Director, Securities Analysis Department, Yuanta Securities (Thailand) It was reported that the Thai stock market fluctuated only slightly this morning after yesterday's strong gains. Investors are awaiting developments in the political situation, particularly regarding the barcodes and QR codes on election ballots, as the Office of the Ombudsman has sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC) requesting clarification within 7 days.

In addition, there have been lawsuits filed with the Administrative Court, and a "sell on fact" phenomenon occurred in stocks that released their earnings results, causing the market to slow down its upward trend.

The afternoon trend is expected to be similar to the morning session, with the index likely to move sideways for the remainder of the week. This is because regional stock markets have reopened, meaning that funds that flowed into the region and were concentrated in the Thai stock market at the beginning of the week may spread to other markets. Support levels are seen at 1,455-1,460 points, and resistance is at 1,470 points.
