The Ministry of Finance led an IMF delegation to visit Bang Lamphu Museum in preparation for the IMF-World Bank major summit in 2569.

The delegation visited Thailand to assess its readiness to host the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, which will be held in Bangkok this October.

The group was taken on a boat tour to admire the beauty along both banks of the Chao Phraya River and visited historical sites along Phra Athit Road. They visited the Bang Lamphu Museum, considered an important educational center in Bangkok, which is under the care of the Treasury Department and located near Phra Sumen Fort on Phra Athit Road.

This visit reflects Thailand's readiness, not only in hosting world-class conferences, but also in its potential to showcase its unique identity, culture, and the charm of the Thai community, accumulated over many years, to an international audience and create a lasting impression of Thai culture.
