These actions have impacted a large number of people and caused damage to property, housing, agricultural land, and public infrastructure.

Ms. Airin stated that the government has assigned the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation to transfer relief funds to affected households through the Government Savings Bank into the accounts of those affected in seven border provinces: Chanthaburi, Trat, Sa Kaeo, Ubon Ratchathani, Buriram, Surin, and Sisaket. The transfer of relief funds to 695,945 households has been successfully completed, totaling over 3,313 million baht.

All households have received the financial assistance, divided into two parts: Transfers made according to the Cabinet resolution on August 26, 2025, were successfully completed for 307,188 households, totaling 1,375,518,000 baht (data as of December 26, 2025, 5:30 PM). Transfers made according to the Cabinet resolution on December 23, 2025, were successfully completed for 388,757 households, totaling 1,938,376,000 baht (data as of February 20, 2026, 5:30 PM). Sisaket and Surin provinces have the highest number of successful transfers and households receiving assistance.
