Muang Thai Life Assurance continues its "Muang Thai Triathlon" Super Series 2026, creating renewed excitement as it enters its fourth year. Under the concept of "ECO HERO," the event aims to elevate sports to an environmentally conscious level, while simultaneously promoting health and inspiring sustainable exercise. The season kicked off with the first leg at Sam Roi Yot, impressing over 850 triathletes.

March 23, 2569 – Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer, Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited. Muang Thai Life Assurance announced that it is continuing the “Muang Thai Triathlon” Super Series 2026, creating renewed excitement as it enters its fourth year of competition under the “ECO HERO” concept. This concept aims to elevate sports to become an environmentally conscious activity, while simultaneously promoting health and inspiring sustainable exercise. The first leg of the season, held at Sam Roi Yot, impressed over 850 triathletes.

This year's "ECO HERO" concept emphasizes efficient resource management across all aspects of the event, particularly reducing waste from activities. This includes Goods Waste, where items received by athletes are designed for reuse or practical application in daily life to minimize unnecessary waste, and Food Waste, where food preparation is planned appropriately to ensure sufficient quantities for participants and reduce food waste as much as possible.

The 2026 competition will be held at three venues amidst stunning and unique natural landscapes, including:

• Thailand Triathlon @ Sam Roi Yot, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province
• Thailand Triathlon @ Ban Krut, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province
• Thailand Triathlon @ Laem Sadet Beach, Chanthaburi Province

The season-opening event was held in Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province on March 21-22, 2569, offering triathletes of all levels the opportunity to test their potential in various competition categories. These included the Standard Triathlon (1.5 km swim, 37 km bike, and 10 km run), the Sprint Triathlon (750 m swim, 26 km bike, and 5 km run), Team Relay, Duathlon, and Tri Kids, which was divided by age group to provide young people with the opportunity to experience a challenging and creative sport. This year's competition was very well received, with over 850 triathletes across all categories contributing to the joy and smiles of the event.

Furthermore, in 2569, the event will be enhanced with new competition categories to cater to a wider range of athletes: Eco Hero (Open category) for competitive athletes aged 19 and above who want to test their abilities on a real course, with prize money for the top 3 winners in both the male and female categories – 5,000 baht, 3,000 baht, and 1,500 baht respectively; and Silver Age for athletes aged 50 and above, both male and female, offering the opportunity to compete in the Sprint distance, reflecting the energy, determination, and inspiration of athletes of all ages.
