The Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized changes to raw material sources, packaging modifications, and opened a fast-track approval process to ensure that the public has continuous access to essential medicines, food, and health products.

Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness of health products is paramount, while also ensuring that there are no shortages in the country. Key measures include:
- Changing the source of raw materials. Businesses are permitted to change the source of raw materials, solvents, or the form of raw materials, provided that this does not affect the chemical structure, quality, safety, and efficacy of the approved product.
- Modification of packaging In the event of a shortage, the packaging type, style, or size can be changed, provided that it meets or exceeds the original standards and safety requirements.
- Open a fast-track review process. To expedite the approval of various modifications, in response to emergencies, and to minimize the impact on production and distribution in the system.
