The Stock Exchange of Thailand, in collaboration with the Financial Banking Journal, will hold the SET Awards 2026 for the 23rd consecutive year to recognize companies demonstrating business excellence and sustainability in two award categories: 1) Business Excellence Awards and 2) Sustainability Excellence Awards.

Mr. Atsadej Kongsiri, Director and Manager of the Stock Exchange of Thailand It was revealed that the Stock Exchange of Thailand is committed to promoting the sustainable growth of the capital market sector to build confidence and create opportunities for all sectors, in line with its vision. “The Trusted Gateway to Inclusive Opportunities” Under its key priorities, the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) aims to create a sustainable and trustworthy marketplace with quality products, good governance, and investment solutions. This is achieved through empowering market participants in various aspects, including the SET Awards, which recognize outstanding companies and exemplary organizations in the capital market in terms of both operations and quality. Furthermore, the SET supports the development of capabilities across all sectors of the Thai capital market, fostering strength and driving sustainable growth.

The SET Awards promote and elevate the standards of excellence in the Thai capital market. This year, the sustainability context is undergoing a transition, including a change in the SET's sustainability assessment to use FTSE Russell ESG Scores, and the SEC's revision of disclosure requirements according to IFRS S1 and S2 (Form 56-1 One Report-S) to allow listed companies time to prepare. Therefore, the Sustainability Awards category will not be presented for two years (2026-2027). The Supply Chain Management Awards will continue as usual. The SET will review and develop new award criteria to align with the future sustainability context, ensuring that the Sustainability Excellence awards reflect the quality and leadership in sustainability of the Thai capital market. The criteria will be published in the second quarter of 2027.

“This year, the Stock Exchange of Thailand will present recognition to listed companies based on their Sustainability Awards received over the past 10 years, since the Stock Exchange began awarding these prizes, in order to honor organizations that consistently drive sustainability into tangible results,” Mr. Assadej said.
