The US leader stated via social media that although the Strait of Hormuz is now open to commercial shipping, the blockade will remain in effect only against Iran until negotiations between the two sides are fully concluded.

This statement comes after Iran announced it would open the Strait of Hormuz to all types of ships following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, which helped to partially ease tensions in the region.
