Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is set to visit Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar from April 22-26, and will participate in the first meeting of the 2+2 Strategic Dialogue Mechanism.
On April 21, 2026, at 3:05 PM, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to pay official visits to Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar at the invitation of the government from April 22-26, 2026.
During this trip, Wang Yi will participate in the first meeting of the “2+2” strategic dialogue mechanism between the foreign and defense ministers of China and Cambodia, together with Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun.
