This decision was made because he is over 70 years old and has underlying health conditions. He has been imprisoned for over seven months, from September 9, 2025, to April 29, 2026, leaving him only 12 days remaining to complete two-thirds of his one-year sentence.

The next step is to send the resolution to the commander of Klong Prem Central Prison and the probation officers. Klong Prem Central Prison will then release Mr. Thaksin to begin his probation for another 4 months on May 11, 69.
