KKP Dime reveals its strategy for developing an investment app to meet the needs of modern investors, highlighting the ability to buy US stocks directly with Thai baht starting at just 50 baht. The app will also leverage AI to enhance investment efficiency and data access, aiming to elevate the user experience in the future.

May 7, 2026 – Chalermwut Chamanan, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of KKP Dime Securities Co., Ltd., stated at the 26th Bangkok Money Expo 2569, in a seminar titled "How Dime Really Uses AI – Unveiling the Secrets Behind its 4 Million Downloads Investment App!", that AI technology is now ubiquitous, being used in work and education, and now even in the investment world.

Furthermore, Dime! is developing an investment platform that focuses on meeting the needs of new-generation investors, particularly by leveraging AI technology to enhance investment efficiency and access to information. With over 4 million app downloads, Dime! highlights its key strength: making investing in US stocks easier by allowing investors to start investing with as little as 50 baht. Investors can directly purchase foreign stocks using Thai baht, eliminating the complex currency exchange procedures of the past.

Users can select global stocks of interest and specify their desired investment amount, such as 50 baht or 100 baht, to start investing immediately. This makes international investing more accessible to younger generations and reduces the limitations of initial investment capital.

Mr. Chalermwut offered advice to novice investors, emphasizing the importance of "investing in what you know." He stressed that investors should thoroughly understand the business or asset they intend to invest in, including its business model, risks, and potential returns, before making an actual investment decision.

Furthermore, AI technology is seen as playing an increasingly important role in the investment world, helping investors access information more quickly and conveniently through AI tools such as ChatGPT or other intelligent platforms that can be used to search for information or analyze initial investment issues.

However, investors still need to exercise discretion in filtering information before using it to make investment decisions, as data from AI may contain both facts and information that requires further verification.

Looking ahead, Dime! plans to develop additional AI features to further facilitate efficient use and investment, catering to the behavior of digital-age investors who demand speed, ease of use, and real-time access to information.
